Keep the Day — Privacy Policy

Keep the Day is designed with privacy as a default. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what the app does and does not do with your information.

What Keep the Day accesses

With your permission, Keep the Day reads photos from your device's Photos library in order to display memories from this date in previous years. This is the core function of the app.

What Keep the Day does NOT do

• Your photos are never uploaded, transmitted, copied, or stored anywhere outside your device.
• Keep the Day does not have a server or backend. There is nowhere off-device for your data to go.
• Keep the Day does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services.
• Keep the Day does not collect your name, email, location, contacts, or any other personal information.
• Keep the Day does not share, sell, or trade any information with anyone, because it does not have any information to share.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, Keep the Day schedules a daily reminder locally on your device using Apple's standard notification system. No notification content is sent to or processed by any external server.

Children

Keep the Day is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that requires different data handling — this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the change.
